Gewoonweg geweldig. In de rij van grootste fans moet ik helemaal achteraan sluiten, want ik heb John pas een jaar of zo geleden ontdekt (via de John Wright Band) en dus was jij (en waren anderen ) me voor, maar anders had ik geprobeerd je te evenaren, hoe moeilijk dat ook zou zijn geweest.
Wanneer komt er een DVD ???, zodat alle niet VS-vaarders een optreden kunnen meebeleven?

Mooi nummer van Shindell met John. Zou dat wel eens life willen horen, maar ik heb niet de indruk dat ze nog ooit samen zingen.

Thank you for the website. It is truly a work of love. I first heard JG in 1989 or thereabouts, on a Miami, Florida NPR folk music show. That afternoon I leaped to the nearest record retailer, a long- defunct place called Peaches, and,remarkably, found Land of the Bottom Line and a New Folk Anthology that included some JG songs. Thanks to JG, after a decade in which I only listened to Early Music,Flamenco, Cuban Son and Bebop, I began listening again to a new generation of brilliant poet trubadours. In 1994, all my well-worn JG cassettes were in my auto the day it disappeared forever into the realms where cannibalized stolen cars vanish. Until today, when I stumbled across your site (while looking for Shawn Colvin, the first great artist I found on the way that lead from JG to kindred souls 15 years ago) Tomorrow I begin looking for JG on CD, a technology beyond my reach the first time I heard Mr.Gorka. merci bien.
